Chris Norton, DDS
General dentist practicing orthodontics exclusively
Dr. Norton graduated from Baylor Dental School in 1984. He has practiced general dentistry in Dallas and Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is past Chairman of the Dental Programs at Amarillo College.
He began his orthodontic training in 1984 and incorporated orthodontics into his general practice. He has attended numerous continuing education hours in orthodontics. In 2002, he took a big step and decided to limit his general practice to orthodontics. This required leaving academia and general dentistry behind to start practicing orthodontics exclusively. He has started and completed about 250 to 300 cases a year since 2002.
Orthodontics led to an interest in facial growth, orthopedic development, TMJ treatment, and snoring/sleep apnea. He finds a common thread that runs through treatment of these areas.
He and his wife Susie have two teenage children, Mitchel and Claire. The Nortons currently live in the McKinney Historic District. Dr. Norton enjoys golf and attending high school sports.
Lisa
Office Administrator
Lisa is responsible for scheduling, financial arrangements, insurance, and customer service. She was raised in St. Paul MN. She loves the great outdoors. Lisa has a great laugh and has a lot of fun at work.
Amber
Registered Orthodontic Assistant
Amber is responsible for assisting Dr. Norton with your treatment and continuing orthodontic care. She recieved
her degree at Texas State Technical College. She enjoys helping patients achieve their beautiful smile. Amber grew up in Brazoria, TX. She loves shopping in downtown McKinney and spending time with her little yorkie, Sadie.
Lani
Lani has lived in Texas all her life & enjoys it very much. She is outgoing and loves getting to know the patients. She also enjoys sports like ping pong and chess.
